Who We Are
Sibley Grove is an architectural and interior design studio with bases in Cambridgeshire and Devon. We work with hotel brands, developers, owner operators and retailers on bespoke projects across the UK and internationally, from boutique hotels and branded properties to restaurants, bars and high-end retail environments.
Our award-winning Design for Disassembly approach underpins everything we do, combining creative ambition with technical rigour to deliver spaces that perform beautifully for guests, operators and businesses alike.
Architectural Design & Technical Services
A building is only as good as it bones. At Sibley Grove, we believe that great design projects stand on the shoulders of the architectural and technical competence and detail that underpins a space. We assist with everything from planning permission to building regulations & code compliance, ensuring the foundations and viability of the project are solid from the outset.
Hospitality
Beautiful spaces are not enough. A hotel can be visually stunning and operationally broken, failing guests, frustrating staff, and quietly eroding revenue. At Sibley Grove, we design spaces that perform as well as they look.
Retail
Retail environments face a challenge that few other building types share: they must express a brand with precision, perform commercially from day one, and adapt as that brand evolves, without generating the cycle of costly refurbishment and material waste that has defined the industry for decades.
Residential
A home is not a portfolio piece. It is a canvas for the people who live in it: their belongings, their memories, their relationships, and the way their lives change over time. At Sibley Grove, our role in residential design is not to impose a vision but to create the conditions in which yours can flourish.
Consultancy
We help businesses to understand if a project is commercially viable before significant investment is made. Whether that’s maximising the value of a hospitality space or offering insight into how circular design can reduce capex down the line, we offer technical, design and branding consultancy to support investors in making better, informed choices.

Beautiful Spaces, Broken Experiences
There is a persistent myth in luxury hospitality that design is primarily an aesthetic exercise. Marble floors. Dutch masters on the walls. Dramatic chandeliers. Grand oak reception desks. These
What Your Maintenance Budget Is Really Telling You About Your Last Refurbishment
If your maintenance team is constantly replacing chairs, repainting scuffed joinery, and patching damaged surfaces, the problem is not wear and tear. It is a design and specification problem.
